Construction
- Poly seat and back consist of injection molded polypropylene
- Upholstered pads consist of an injection molded polypropylene backer, .6" thick urethane foam and an upholstery covering
- Cushions are contoured to match the shape of the polypropylene seat or backrest
- Chair legs are made of 1" O.D. 16-gauge tubular steel
- Armrests are constructed of injection molded nylon
- Glides are either chrome plated steel or plastic
- Carpet casters available in black finish only

The Rapture® stool is versatile with a contemporary design that offers new heights of comfort and value. The modern styling, graceful slope of the arms and curvature of the back make it a perfect choice. Designed by Giancarlo Piretti, the Rapture stool is available with or without arms in a upholstered seat/back, upholstered seat/poly back or poly seat/back. Stools have glides only and don't stack.

DESIGNER
Giancarlo Piretti
Giancarlo Piretti (Bologna, Italy, 1940) is an Industrial Designer. Among his successful designs are Plia folding chair, his best-seller exhibited at Moma NY, Platone folding desk, and DSC (106-AXIS) seating system. For Vertebra chairs he obtained the Compasso d'Oro (Italy) as well as for his largest project, Piretti Collection office & institutional seating system. Other designs include Xylon wooden chairs, Torsion collection of institutional chairs; Engage & Impulse office chair lines featured by a synchro tilt mechanism Piretti developed; #18000 nesting & stacking chairs; and the Strive chair collection. The Pirouette nesting table and Grazie and Doni chairs for KI U.S. are G. Piretti's latest designs.
