Cobalt Medical Development set out to create a state-of-the-art physical rehabilitation center, a place for patients to heal after a major surgery or catastrophic illness. To support a residential aesthetic and offer home-like comfort, the Cobalt team in Surprise, Arizona, approached KI for a variety of upscale and elegant yet practical furnishings for this healthcare facility.

As the main furnishings for the lobby and family gathering areas, the Cobalt team selected KI’s sophisticated Soltice® Metal Collection, upholstered with carefully curated Pallas® Textiles. The collection quickly became a favorite among staff for its ease of cleaning and adaptable design throughout various seating spaces.
With the patient always top of mind, the Cobalt team sought counsel from KI for space planning that would help patients feel at home, which is thought to help patients heal more quickly.
