Katie Clark

Higher Education Market Manager

Katie Clark serves as KI’s Higher Education Market Manager, bringing more than 15 years of experience as both a higher education practitioner and a national thought leader in learning environment design. She holds an MSEd from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Smith College, where she served as a Trustee.

Her career began inside colleges and universities, advising students, building programs, and shaping institutional strategy. This experience gives her an insider perspective on how campus spaces affect student success, belonging, and engagement.

Most recently, Katie served as Assistant Dean and founding Director of the Center for Innovation and Leadership at Swarthmore College. She has also held roles in admissions, enrollment, and career services, with deep experience in design thinking, leadership development, innovation and entrepreneurship, and strategic planning.

At KI, her work centers on creating inclusive, engaging campus environments that support belonging and student success.
