KI Earns 2025 Green Masters Designation and Three Top Performer Awards

December 4, 2025

New recognition categories highlight KI’s leadership in employee well-being, safety, and sustainable transportation across its manufacturing operations.

GREEN BAY (December 4, 2025) – KI is proud to announce that it has been recognized by the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council, earning the prestigious Green Masters Program designation for 2025. In addition to this honor, KI received three new Top Performer awards within the Manufacturing Environment category of the Green Masters Program:

  • Employee Experience
  • Employee Health & Safety
  • Sustainable Transportation

These Top Performer categories were introduced for the first time in 2025, highlighting a deeper level of assessment regarding how organizations integrate sustainability into core business operations and employee well-being. KI’s recognition reflects the company’s longstanding commitment to building a safer, healthier, and more resilient workplace while reducing environmental impact across its manufacturing facilities.

The Green Masters Program is Wisconsin’s premier sustainability benchmarking and recognition platform. More than 200 companies participate annually, with scoring based on the integration of material sustainability practices in business management systems, operational performance, and measurable progress across key ESG indicators. Organizations are evaluated across 15 categories, which together represent a comprehensive view of sustainable business leadership.

KI’s strong performance is supported in part by the company’s participation in the BIFMA e3 “level” program, which provides data and verified metrics that contribute to the Green Masters scoring framework. This alignment allows KI to demonstrate continuous improvement across areas such as resource efficiency, employee well-being, and responsible transportation and logistics practices.

“Our commitment to sustainability is deeply embedded in how we operate—from how we support our employees to how we manage our facilities and deliver products,” said Robin Kunstmann, sustainability manager at KI. “Being recognized not only as a Green Masters company but also as a Top Performer in three new manufacturing categories reinforces the impact of our ongoing efforts and our dedication to doing what’s right for our people, our customers, and the planet.”

KI has been a consistent participant in the Green Masters Program and has been recognized at the Green Masters level multiple times, reflecting the company’s sustained progress and industry leadership in responsible manufacturing.
