KI Furniture Reports Major Sustainability Milestones

GREEN BAY – KI, a leader in contract furniture solutions, has released its 2024 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report, showcasing significant strides in environmental sustainability and community engagement.  

Key Highlights:

• Significant Environmental Reductions: KI achieved a 15.3 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and a 5.7 percent decrease in water usage since 2020, aligning with its goal to reduce emissions and energy use by 25 percent.
• Advancements in Renewable Energy: The company's design and development center, powered by nearly 500 rooftop solar panels, offset 100 percent of its electricity usage in 2024 and redirected 32.9 percent of the captured energy back to the power grid.
• Product Sustainability Certifications: In 2024, 195 KI product families earned the highest LEVEL® certification, reflecting the company's commitment to environmentally and socially responsible product design.
