New Hampshire school named finalist in national contest
Gorham Middle High School has a chance to win $40,000 in new furniture for a STEM classroom, but it needs your votes
GORHAM, N.H. —
A local school has a chance at winning a game-changing prize in a national contest, but it needs your help.
Gorham Middle High School is a finalist in the KI Classroom Furniture Giveaway contest. The school has a chance to win $40,000 in new furniture for Mrs.Shannon Wydra's STEM classroom.
"This would be huge for our small school," Wydra told News 9 in an email.
According to KI's website, Gorham Middle High School is among 12 finalists selected out of hundreds of applicants. The schools that get the most votes in each of the four categories will win the grand prize.
Voting opened Friday morning at www.ki.com.
You can cast your vote through Jan. 31. The grand prize winners will be announced on Friday, Feb. 2.
