Designing for Amenity Spaces

Contract June 1, 2019

These days, if a designer is working on a workplace, he or she can't help thinking about how to improve the project's amenity spaces. After all, in this tight job marketm amenity-rich workspaces help employers attract and retain talent. A recent workplace study by Gensler revealed that the amenities people want are not always the most expensive, and the top five spaces they want include a restaurant/bar/pub, a cafe, specialty coffee, a grocery, and an outdoor space.

And it's not just for workplaces. Landlords are increasingly devoting more space to amenity features - like better gyms, outdoor spaces, and comfortable lounges - in all their buildings. The transformative influence of coworking spaces with amenity-rich options is also raising the bar and changing the office landscape. Here's a selection of some of our favorite products debuting a NeoCon, which will give any interior designer the competitive and innovative edge in designing their next amenity-rich workspace.
