Public library expands to meet growing demands
Within an existing space, Skokie Public Library needed to add five new study rooms, one executive board room, one multipurpose meeting room, and computer stations that were attractive, comfortable and functional.
KI developed floor plans and architectural renderings using Genius architectural walls. Within this modular system, KI incorporated power duplexes and matched existing architectural interior details and finishes to make it appear as though the walls had always been there. For the computer stations, KI used Unite panel system furniture to create two rows of back-to-back benching stations with power access at desk height and at the base.
