-- Twitter chat to spotlight Active Design, its growth and strategies for implementation on December 10 th at 11:00AM CST --
GREEN BAY, WIS. - In an effort to highlight the growing importance of Active Design and its increasing role in workplace planning for the A&D community, KI will be hosting a Twitter chat with the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), CannonDesign and Gensler on December 10th at 11:00AM CST. The Twitter chat will focus on the importance of adopting an Active Design approach to workspaces-one that promotes physical activity throughout the day and encourages workers to adhere to a healthier lifestyle. The official hashtag for the social media discussion is #ActiveDesign.
"The increasing costs of healthcare, the Affordable Care Act and a cultural shift towards increased workplace productivity are leading organizations down a path toward Active Design," said Jonathan Webb, Vice President, Business Markets, KI. "These concerns will soon be the number one issue organizations will face and aim to solve in the coming years. And we're excited to leverage this Twitter chat to provide an interesting perspective on how active design is being used by companies to recruit/retain, improve productivity or simply enhance their corporate wellness programs."
The Twitter chat will allow attendees to engage participants and respond to a series of questions about best practices in Active Design and practical applications. To learn about how to participate in a Twitter chat, click here.
