Workplace Factors Assessment
Creating an efficient and effective workplace is a major priority for organizations. Efforts to improve organizational effectiveness often focus on human resource development strategies. These efforts include programs to improve skills in such areas as sales, management, coaching, team building, communication, negotiations and others. Of course, such efforts are essential to maximizing human performance.
An often overlooked area that also influences human performance is the physical workspace. Organizations often underestimate the importance that workplace design and layout has on employee productivity and, as a result, profits suffer. However, in recent years there has been increased interest in the effects of the physical workspace upon employee performance and satisfaction.
Therefore, KI has developed the Workplace Factors Assessment. This online survey is conducted to measure how employees actually perceive their work environment in virtually every facet. Survey questions are analyzed based on the following five key categories:
• Ambient conditions
• Furniture/equipment
• Layout
• Psychosocial
• Communication/collaboration
Upon completion of the survey, a comprehensive report is developed summarizing how current workplace standards are perceived.
