Melangé has a unique texture that resembles semi-transparent raw silk. Melangé is a dobby construction that works as both casement and drapery. It is constructed of polyester micro-fiber warp yarns, filled with a combination of poly micro-fibers interspersed with a rayon “dupione” yarn. This gives the cloth its irregular, raw silk-like effect.
