Tanis held one of the largest dynasties in the Egyptian Delta and its wealthy kings buried treasures in their tombs. A silver bowl used as a royal chalice offered up the inspiration for this design, which provides the best of all worlds—the raised surface warp is of durable polyester, while a depressed chenille yarn softens the hand.
